Hypnotherapy and the NHS
The importance of hypnotherapy as a treatment is acknowledged more and slowly starts to be used within the National Health Service to help with several conditions.
Please note that you might have seen on other websites the NHSTrust Association "NHSTA". The NHSTA is not a part of the Department of Health or the NHS and should not be mistaken for an official NHS Association. If you are looking for a government official validation you should look for the CNHC logo which is the UK regulator for complementary healthcare practitioners. The Department of Health recommends that, where CNHC registers the professional discipline in question, you consult with someone who is CNHC registered. For more information visit The Department of Health website and look for the section titled Complementary Healthcare Regulation towards the bottom of the page.
